Lloyd:
the Ugly Kid
The
movie never, despite its very funny moments, lets the audience forget
the many problems of the 'ugly' Lloyd.
The entire movie is rich in detail while not losing an overall perspective.
Because Lloyd has a younger brother, who already has more experience with
girls and thus always shows off, the movie only becomes more amusing.
Since Lloyd remains unlucky throughout most of the plot, one really pities
him in the various situations.
But
the last third turns the movie into what it finally is: a masterpiece.
Lloyd finds out, that there is one girl who is interessted in him. Besides,
he finds a new friend, Troy, who adds color again to his previously sad
life.
In every aspect, it is a beautiful, funny and enternaining movie.
