Dennis
P is an average sort of boy. Naturally he has his problems, but that's
nothing unusual for boys of his age. Dennis P's father died recently but
nevertheless Dennis P thinks that his mother, who spends all her time
crying her heart out, has been grieving too long for her husband. Moreover,
Dennis P is jealous of his best friend, Mick, who, like Dennis P, is in
love with Karen Elise and clearly has more of a chance with her. However,
the worst thing of all is - he still hasn't got any pubic hair.
Naturally, all of these problems can be solved without any kind of miracle.
But miracles are what are in store for Dennis P, in the shape of a heavenly
messenger who looks remarkably like his deceased father and who awards
him the ability to pull off his own medium-sized miracles. The only condition
is that Dennis P must stop swearing.
Dennis P starts with small potatoes such as a new stereo and a skateboard.
But then he really lets rip, turning his mother into a wild tigress of
a woman, his class teacher into an obsequious serf and his friend Mick
into such an idiot, that Karen Elise doesn't want anything more to do
with him. But are things any better? No. In fact, this is where the trouble
starts. Then, when Dennis P lets a swear word slip out leaving him with
just one wish left, he really has to put his thinking cap on...
